Trek-Kits Climbing Tower Scales New Heights

Anyone crossing the bridge into town might have been struck by the newest addition to the Oundle skyline.

Trek-Kits at The Wharf in Oundle have built a new 7.3 metre high mobile climbing tower to add to their wide range of activities. The tower, which features four climbing lines is available for parties, special occasions and corporate events. Being mobile, the tower can be moved to any location, complete with fully trained and competent staff.

The climbing lines themselves are equipped with hydraulic belay lines which allow climbers to let go and be slowly lowered to the ground with no freefall. All equipment, including helmets and harnesses are supplied and are suitable for both adults and children. Each of the four lines takes a different route up the tower, allowing for many different climbs.

The tower is a great addition to the many activities already available at The Wharf. With Tap and Kitchen restaurant right next door offering a satisfying post-climb lunch and brew, the bookings are flowing in.
